Maybe Lodge should consider bringing back the 5" if there is this much demand for it.

I just ordered a lid lifter and a lid holder for my new cast iron oven from Lodge. I wanted to get the gloves too but they were tempoarily unavailable. There were quite a few items , Mostly the big sizes, that were unavailable. Lodge says that due to increased orders, they are tempoarily concentrating on producing the more popular items. I saw the little oven on ebay, I thought that it wasn't labled with a brand, but I could be wrong. Still haven't tried my new pot. I needed a place outside to set it up. Finally picked up a piece of sheet metal to put it on. Going to rest the metal on a couple of big bricks. Didn't want to ruin the concrete on my patio. Thinking about getting a metal garbage can and turning it upside down to raise the pot up.

Guy,
It's made for single servings.
I paid more for mine, but the money went to a good cause AND what makes mine special????... It was the VERY LAST 5CO to ship out of Lodge.

OK, somebody just has to explain this one to me!!

Skillet

What possible reason could I have for paying this much for a skillet? Does it cook the food while you watch the tube and have a few beers, then serve it up with a cocktail??

Rich,
OK... Now there's an example of someone being wacked out.
It's a rare size, but Yes... One would have to be truely wacked out to pay that price.

Eddie,
Yours is special... Only two of those in existence, but yours is a 9", not a 5".

Dean,
I thought you had bought one. But I didn't know you had the affliction that bad.

I went through that one already and have caught a new one; Scooters!
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.

Lee,
I did buy one off of Ebay and it showed up CRACKED.
I went to the "eye-dee-ohh-ess" convention and bought the "last of the last" at auction.
BTW- I heard about your new affliction... A Big Bird told me. (Sure as heck wasn't a little bird)
