New in Southwest MO..

Hey everyone....

I have been reading these forums steadily and getting some info as i go. I have officially started my tear(welding up my frame as of 12-30-06)! Should finish the frame(minus axles) this week, so i can move on to the next part. Looking forward to the gathering in Nebraska in June. I'll be coming with my Neighbor(Fredand the Tazman) and his teardrop. Should be fun and im going to keep a photo album of my build. Just don't expect a proffessional photogragher out of the deal

A convoy would be really cool. Minden NE is quite a drive for you guys too. We may go up to Lawrence KS and pick up the kids. Not sure yet. We are getting a nice group in MO alone.

Nice to see someone else in this neck of the woods... OK, TX, AR, KS, MO, LA .... go ahead and make plans to convoy down to the LCG come October.... you'll have a blast !

I will also make the louisiana trip as well in oct. My Neighbor Fred and his dog (the Tazman) made the last one. If you went to that one, then you probably met him. He invited me to come , but that same week was our family vacation to Chicago. That happened to be Freds' first gathering by the way; and he loved it.

I hope there is plenty of lakes at these gatherings as well. I love to fish (hence......"crappie camper"). Have to bring the canoe!

Hey it is nice to have another Teardroper in the newly merged north central and south central group! HA! Spingfield is only a hundred and twenty miles from Broken Arrow. You might as well hang out with the south central group!

Maybe everyone south or around springfield area could meet up at say....Bass pro then convoy on up to Minden. Or something like that. A bunch of teardrops in front of Bass Pro would be a nice site for pictures!

Hello crappie camper, I'm from north eastern Arkansas. I also have a daughter that lives in Springfield. Maybe when we get our trailers built we can get together or evev if I get up to see my daughter.

Ah, my favorite store. Bistineau is supposed to be a great fishing lake. Minden is also close to a lake or two and the Platte river. From the sounds of it we won't have time to fish though.

Have you looked up how to get to Minden from where you are? I don't know the roads around there.

Bass Pro is a great place for all South bound runs.

Are you guys in Joplin? If so, Springfield is an hour north east out of your way towards Minden. Maybe we could all Meet In Carthage or some town near there on "old route 66"?
