Julie,

Thanks, I agree I need a rain and umbrella icon. I'm glad to be able to add to the gatherings.

Our last two trips in our tear:
Christmas eve at our son's: a freezing windy monsoon!
And yes, the tear does leak when the rain is blowing nearly horizontal.
The past 2 days in Missouri: First night frost on the ground and low level fog (a very other-worldly look). Second night windy and cold; the HEAVY rain hit on the way home. (And we won't discuss Lenny's speeding ticket...)
Dave and Cindy - seems like we've spent too many camping trips with y'all...

Parts

Postby reo-ron » Sat Jan 06, 2007 1:00 pm

Hey any of you guys/gals still gathering parts to build a trailer besides me? I have some parts I decided not to use and could bring them to Beavers Bend if anyone is interested. The prices will be generally FREE with NO Shipping. You have to be there and promise to use them on your trailer or give them to someone who will.
Ron in Tulsa
Dexter electric brakes w/4 hole hubs
Small crank out windows
Black epoxy frame paint
Various wheels
etc,etc etc
PS if you need epoxy or urethane paint ,I sell Industrual coatings to pay the bills and you can buy at COST for your trailer projects.
Epoxies $20 -$30 gallon with activator and Urethanes $30-$50 gallon with activator. Price depends on colors.
Old cars, trucks, trailers and scooters - bought, sold, traded and enthusiastically talked about.

This is a great idea. I have some leftover epoxy and fiberglass I could bring too. Maybe if enough people bring leftover parts, we could build a tear that weekend and raffle it off or something?
