This is worth the asking price

For what is listed on eBay right now, in my opinion the best value is this:

@ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 140&rd=1,1

I bought from this Seller several years ago.
He is a a fair person and this is a rare vintage trailer.
He lives in Chetek, Wisconsin and has a good eye
for genuine vintage trailers.

I seen that one and was thinking about going for a drive. It is only about 40 minutes away.

Elmo, if you can make if from Green Bay to Chetek in 40 minutes I think Dale Earnhardt Enterprises may want your phone number.

You are correct! There is a Chizek Trucking Company in Cleveland, WI that I mixed up....way too much gin last night! :tipsy:

Cleveland Wisconsin is only 40 minutes away! There is a Collector Car place there and I guess I just sort of assumed old cars old campers!

It looks a lot like a Benroy except for it being about a foot to long. And yes Benroy made about 10 standup TT's. I do my homework. Go for it. It has good possibilities and would be a fun little trailer. With the interest that is being shown on ebay, it might get a little price'y. Also, it looks to be mid 60's.

So, did you get it? A lot of work but a good price. But it also looks like just a little work is needed to start using.

Without actually being able to go down and physically look at it I was going to stop at $850, but as you already know it went past that.

If the one I PM'd you about in Maine was closer I would probally go get that one, but the cost of going 2600 miles factors in.

I am not sure if this will qualify as a standup Tear but Kenskill started with Tears in 1946 and moved on to standups later. This is the oldest Kenskill picture I have seen:

I have no other information on it or the publication.
