What a nightmare last night--I need professional help

Postby Ira » Thu Jan 11, 2007 6:21 am

Okay, I know most people think I need to see a psychiatrist anyway, but last night, I had a dream that I was driving home from work, and someone was towing my TD in the opposite direction:

But the roof was off, the sides were ALL tilted, my microwave was perched precariously on the edge and ready to fall off, and a whole bunch of other cracked, broken stuff was crashing about.

In other words, it was totalled.

I made a u-turn and tried to catch up with it, to no avail. So I returned to the boatyard where I keep it see what the heck was going on. The boatyard manager informed me that since I used screws to attach the sides to the wood frame and not glue, that the sides had imploded. But he knew nothing about the fellow who was towing my TD around town.

I woke up, relieved to realize that The Crab was indeed still safe, and that it was a good idea that I used screws and not glue, per the manager's suggestion

100% true story--so have I finally gone over the edge with this obsession?

I used both, but if I had to pick one, definitely screws.

So, Ira, what was the unusual part of the dream, then?

You need to run and run very fast. He is calling you from inside the house. Get out and get out NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8) 8)

Also - your new Avatar is scary - maybe it is causing your dream.

Do you listen to the radio at night - you need to call this in to COAST TO COAST AM.

Good Luck.

It's ok Ira...you just need some simple "dream interpretation."

To dream that you are driving a vehicle, signifies your life's journey and your path in life. The dream is telling of how you are moving and navigating through life. If you are driving and cannot see the road ahead of you, then it indicates that you do not know where you are headed in life and what you really want to do with yourself. You are lacking direction and goals. If you are driving on a curvy road, then it indicates that you are have difficulties in achieving your goals and the changes associated with it. If you are driving and see your teardrop all wrecked and being towed in the opposite direction, then it indicates that you lead a life of wanton, animal-like lust. The fact that you turned around and were unable to catch up with it is symbolic that this lust is mostly unfulfilled.

Let me know if you have any other dreams in need of interpretation!!!
