OK... Is this guy a nut? Or, is this stuff he is reporting in this movie true?

His interview:

I didn't have time to watch it all this morning but this is one I'll definitely make time to watch. Sounded like some interesting stuff. Need to figure out how to download the clip.

Brick, I have looked at his stuff and he makes a real convincing argument and at least part of it can be substantiated BUT, whether it is true or not, it all happened long ago and all participants are dead and it is not likely to get an investigation going or to change any ofit...unless of course a full fledged revolution occurs and at present the Devil we know is bad enough just think what would be unleashed with a "new" revolution...make the French one look like a Sunday school pic-a-nic.....

Sad thing is, we all know it's true.

ID cards are coming so that we can "protect" america from terrorists. I sure as hell don't want one and I know when they put them in our driver's licenses everyone on here will have them.. How could you pull your tear without it! Makes me wish I was older, so I won't be around when it gets really bad here in America. I whis a revolution would come.. I'm sick of paying income taxes for no reason.

There is a childrens book out called "If you give a mouse a cookie. " It teaches children to look at what might happen next if something happened.

So if you give the Government a dollar... If the Government gives you a dollar....If you tried to change what is...If someone else tried to change what is... Can you say Irag.

If half what that guy says in the movie is true it sure is scary... Maybe I'm glad I won't be around when the caca hits the fan. I do feel sorry for our kids though. :o

So what happens if America joins this guy and the income tax is abolished? Congress will move at near light speed to pass some other equally oppressive tax to replace it, and probably make it retroactive to 1916!

Yeah... You're prolly right. But I think it would have to done out in the open and we the peons might have some say about what got passed? Some other things he mentions like a national ID tied to our drivers licenses is pretty "1984" kinda scary too. :o
Here's one opinion: http://www.vigay.com/misc/idcards.html

I understand we have to pay to run a country this size and I'd gladly pay a legal income tax, passed by an independent Congress that honestly represents the populace.
The most dangerous thing in all this is that a private corporation is in control, printing money, ordering from behind the scenes the path we are on to totalitarianism complete with electronic tatoos.
Why do you think we have no draft? Not because we, the people, are against it, but because a professional, standing army (navy, etc.) including many non-Americans who have the promise of citizenship at the end of their service is loyal not to the people, not to the Constitution, not to our independence, but to the government in whatever illegal and clandestine form it rears it head and issues orders. Think of all the times you heard the excuse "I was just following orders." That's what the Nazi common soldier used, and we keep on hearing it. What if those orders were to move masses of Americans into the hidden subterranean interment camps. The armed forces have less and less loyalty to protect us, and more and more incentive to "just follow orders" whatever those orders may be.

What happens to all that money the Fedreal Reserve makes?

After paying its expenses, the Federal Reserve turns the rest of its earnings over to the U.S. Treasury.

Contrary to what this guy states and many people believe, the Federal Reserve DOES NOT print money or produce coinage.

The Federal Reserve does not produce bank notes or coins. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) produces currency and stamps, and the U.S. Mint produces our nation's coins. The Federal Reserve issues Federal Reserve notes and places them in circulation. Currency processing and authentication machines at Federal Reserve Bank cash offices determine whether the currency received from circulation is genuine and fit for recirculation. If a note is genuine but too worn for recirculation, the note is shredded.

Thank you for your insult to every man and woman in uniform that protects your right to spout such crap. That is about as polite as I can put it.

When I joined the military (US Navy, 1975), I took an oath to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." For the record, I still consider myself bound by that oath even though I retired in 1997.

The interesting thing about this guy/nut is that he's managed to produce a conspiracy theory for old farts - which is good marketing as that's a big group available to buy into his theory.

Of course, like all conspiracy theories, you have to want to believe in it, for it to be plausible. Has anyone noticed their twenty dollar bills being rejected when offered in payment because they're 'basically worthless'? Doubtful.

Andrew,
Excellent point, I have yet to have someone refuse any of my currency. In fact, I have people lining up to seperate me from my worthless money.
