I'm with Rich on this one, never been much of a coffee drinker either. Dean's the one who's in trouble with this one.

I have never bought coffee from a vending machine and I never will.
Want some good coffee?... Try Kopi Luwak on for size.

I don't drink coffee unless I have to, it's not that I don't like the flavor. I'm not a fan of any hot beverage.

Man...I'm glad I mostly brew my own....
but I wonder considering the animal coffee success...how we should market the monkey?

Dean...I think that may be what they are using in that vending machine    ...if all I have is a choice of vending machine coffee, I will probably hit the "Hot Chocoalte" button...but then again if you are TRULY desperate, many machines have an "extra Strong" button...as a trucker, I will say that you drink what you can get, where you can get it......

If you can get hot water you can have good coffee in about 2 minutes.
There are too many ways -- Folger's singles, the Taster's Choice tube, the single-serve filter -- vending machines don't cut it. I love the Melitta makers, but there are so many alternatives ...

here are a few "field expedient" coffee makers:

and last but way not least:

and then there's the really disgusting trick "hardcore" DIs use:

Tear the top off the packet of instant coffee in the MRE
Tear the top off the creamer
Pour in mouth
Add two or three sips of water

Continue

Heikki, that is so cute! I have an expresso maker and french press for work, french press for camping and I use an old percolator at home. No coffee machine for me; last time I had some I think there were two monkeys inside, one for coffee, one for creamer.
