Losing Iraq, one truckload at a time?

This was sent to me today by a career Marine friend serving in Irac.

This is a clear evidence why we will likely lose this war in the end.
It is very hard to civilize a tribal society.

Brick,

Ever see the movie: Searching for Bobby Fisher?

At one point the kid hero says to his kid opponent: You lost, you just don't know it yet.

That's where we are.

Brick, Selected oil companies may be the only winners in this war.
Although the U.S. doesn't need and uses little Iraq oil (it will probably go to Europe, China, ect.), certain oil giants are working a deal to add Iraq's reserves to their portfolio for the next 30 years at half price. Not to start an argument with anyone, but oil politics/huge profits are certainly a part of the war equation.

Yeah, and don't forget the military-industrial suppliers... They always win big in any conflict. This war is a sweet deal for big government contractors... as all wars are. :(

And the biggest money is made during the re-construction that occurs after the war. I was reading an article where some contractors have a no bid contract with the government...... Imagine being able to write your own price in........
This whole thing is starting to stink.....
