Remedy for Sinus Pressure??

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Sinus Relief

Postby CPASPARKS » Wed Jan 17, 2007 2:58 pm

Thanks to all.

I started with the warm water and salt solution and it worked great.

However, after a day of nasal treatment with the warm water and salt...I bit the bullet and went with Laredo's advice of hyrdrogen peroxide.

My My...thought my head was going to fizzle off of my shoulders. I had to close my eyes for about two minutes and I think I had temporary hallucinations.

Day-ng...that really gives you immediate relief. The first time to do it is scary...but after you know what to expect...it is a great relief...

Thanks Laredo..

Yep ... and it didn't even involve paying for the doctor visit, eh? :R
It makes you think you're gonna die.

CPASparks,

One thing that I do is lay on the bed on my back with my head hanging over the side of the bed. The objective is to get the head (sinus)lower than the heart. The pressure in the sinus is released. It does work and it doesn't cost anything.

Todah,

Do you lay on your back or your front? I'm assuming your front. I'll have to try that.

Sorry Mike. My original msg written in 1st person, then 2nd person, so I'm sure it was a little confusing. I edited the msg with the changes done in green. ...but I understand what you mean. Sinus problems will do that to you. :?

How much water do you drink daily. You should drink about 3 quarts daily. It works for us.

My wife has had sinus problems for years. She takes her hair dryer and blows hot air on her face and within a few munites the pain is gone. At least for several hours. Also uses the sinus irrigator also with much success. Hope your doing better.
