Now there's a visual I didn't need.

Dear Miriam,

The picture you e-mailed me didn't open. Could it possibly be geezer-porn?

In the State of MO the staff would have had to allow them privacy. 8) Maybe taken away the oil so no one slipped and got injured. ;)

BTW---what will you do if your residents get thier hands on a copy and demand equal time.

That was everyones major concern here.

I was carfull so that none of the residents saw it.

Once when I first started here I was hanging up a clean privacy curtain and was up on a ladder. I feel someone tugging on my pants leg. I looked down to see what the person wanted, and had the shock of my life!   This lady was all naked all but a breif, her headlights just a blazing! I imediatly looked back up at the ceiling and yelled for a nurse! Help! They came a running thinking something was terribly wrong, they took the lady away and started laugffing <sp?> at me. I did'nt think it was too funny at the time but now as I look back on that day, it was.
I've seen them out in the hallways lifting up their shirts a few times, it doesn't really bother me any more. I tell contractors or whoever that come to work for us that you get used to it.

 Perhaps it is the effort they were putting in to it. At least trying to put in to it. ;)

Nothing new. The nursing home I worked at had seniors cottages/apartments,and you would see the widowed ladies & gentleman sneeking around like teenagers. They would hold hands, and neck in our "courtyard" area. One guy was a real Romeo, and the ladies all clammered for his attention. He was walking with me down the hall one day near Christmas, and told me "I hope Christmas is soon over these women will kill me" He was known to attend a few "private" Christmas parties by some of the gals. BTW he was 94,and told me once " If you don't use it ,you loose it". I told him, I hope I grow up just like him. LOL

God Bless'em but, I'duno? I really wouldn't mess with some of these Senior citizens. When they get mad...its not a pretty sight.

I thought my Mom was going to KILL someone the other night when they interupted Jepordy!
