I was asked to post some more photos, maybe I could just win this thing... .
The footings and foundation were poured in one day; 5 weeks later we started framing and it was completed over a 3 day weekend. Helps to have some good friends and beer money too...and yes I was foreman - only one chief allowed you know.... GREAT FRIENDS brought this together with me and of course anyone is welcome to come use the goods. :applause: Got tired of working in the garage. Had a shop at the last house - this shop was 'spose to be in the 5 year plan... yeah, it didn't take 5 years let me tell you that... kind of like a TearDrop, you want it, you DO it.

Very nice shop Keith. :applause:  Are the leather looking chairs for board meetings? I'm with Doug, #1 bathroom is out side  , the county won't let me add to the septic system :x . The house is so close why bother anyway. :) Danny

Edit: I noticed all your signs. For those who may want some check out Desperate Enterprises at http://www.desperate.com they have some really neat signs, light switch plates, thermometers, refrigerator magnets, etc,

Hey Danny... those are some cloth office chairs I salvaged from an office remodel.. do poker games count as board meetings?...there always seems to be plenty of "finance" talk during those.

And for everyone: Dannys' link is exactly where I got my signs from...word to the wise..they're expensive. I took the catalog to work and 10-15 of us ordered about 200 combined at one time and that brought the cost WAY WAY WAY down...

Keith...that is one outstanding "play pen" you have there....I had great dreams of doing my shop up nicely, but got going on the house remodel/ a boat and now 3 tears that have sidetracked my plans....some day...in the meantime...I'll have to stumble over hoses, cords and deal with the overspray and lack of storage space...maybe after this tear is done...  Doug

Before ANYONE runs out to burn their shop down please let me come over and "salvage" some stuff if you don't mind - I'm big on that... just made a score yesterday for 2000+ sq. ft. of t&g oak flooring from an old farm house (100 year old wood) they're gonna torch - but I have to hurry and get it ripped out. As far as the maid service to Len, Danny and myself - I think I could get use to that idea  but probably wouldn't get much work done. Thanks for all the compliments guys, it's very nice to hear - and I'm not posting these pictures to brag either - just to win that CD - anyone and everyone can use my shop - friends help me get it done thus friends can call it their own.

Thanks Danny, I really do enjoy it.. HOWEVER - I think I'm going to have to stop buying tools to pay for TearDrop stuff...

WOW... actual "build" of the TD is quite reasonable but the "stuff" is pricey... I just ordered a "BestConverter" thanks to Madjacks advise, and a "Fantastic Fan" thanks to about everyones advise, some lights, switches, porch light...$chaching chaching$ - but, hey, anything worth doing is worth doing right. Found a great site for salvage parts - Colaw RV Parts in MO 417-548-2125 - light switches were $1.50 for 2 gang, brass and bronze, lights were $2, gotta love that. I'm now researching "trim".

My RV supplier has roof edge almost identical to what I've seen on TD sites, but he said he didn't think it would form around the corner. Guess I need to learn how to anneal properly. Anyway, thanks to all for the shop compliments.. looking forward to more weekend build. We're getting lots of snow, so a heated shop sounds like the perfect retreat.

Just a few photos of the other duty my shop has. It cleans up well, workbench and Dewalt Saw are covered with Formica panels and is used as a meeting hall for both my Dad, with his monthly Class Meeting (Girard College) and I with my TearJerkers friends.
