My favorite? Ketchup and mustard are my choices on the fly.

HOWEVER: Nathan's hot dogs are the only choice for me when I'm doing some serious hot dog munchin'. I already have the megapack for the superbowl.

Variation: Take some fresh sauerkraut, mix in a little thousand island dressing, and some real crumbled bacon - BAM! A favorite at our house among most everyone who's tried it.

Brown, Honey or Benedictine Sisters Mustard, a little kraut, onions, and a nice cold beer.

I like Nathan's but Hebrew National quarter-pounders are my dogs of choice.

Sounds like a Reuben dog! I make low-carb Reubens by adding caroway seeds to the kraut and skipping the rye bread.

Being a person that likes spice on the pallet, finding bland catchup is

Going to COSTCO, and after shopping ... stepping uP to the food window
and asking for a Polish sausage combo and giving them about $1.73 and
then filling my 16 oz refillable cup with a drink, I then go to construct and

My usual duty is to use the brown grain mustard, NOT the yellow and have
that brown line, go from one end to the other of the Polish bun-ned
delight, followed by relish to mingle with the brown spices of the mustard,
only when the onion pieces flood the bun covering the first too items does
the meal seem right with the world. Hand packing the onion without getting
mustard or relish on the palm is the right amount of onion.

Setting in the California sun during a Santa Anna in February in 78 degrees
and having such a treat is a joy that I would wish any retiree as well as
those persons that would hope for the freedom of shopping mid week on a
quiet afternoon. People watching, can be nice in the warmth of sun when
other parts of the country would find hot dogs or sausage not to be proper
fair at this time of year.

Your making me home sick you sick puppy. I suppose you may go to the Morena Blvd one or the one off Mission Gorge Road. I imagine it's 10 degrees hotter in Santee & El Cajon where I use to work and wear shorts in February, oh the good ole' days in San Diego. I'll have to make a TD road trip down there this year. My choice is also a Polish dog but smothered with regular mustard & the relish and onions. We have one every weekend no matter what the weather is. Ketchup? I only use it on fries and to cover up fish.

Right on Brother! Hot Dog's are a great with anything on em..I like hot meat sauce too, with mustard, onions, and hot peppers on top! :beautiful:

Chili Dog Mustard, or plain mustard either way is good. Krout is always Good
Ketchup should never touch bread Yuck :thumbs down:

OK.. that's the toppings, but what about the dog?

Mine has to be grilled on the rollers, and the bun has to be steamed. Then I load it with whatever they got....Good times :thumbsup:
