I insulated and am glad I did no condensation. Then again I have never been in one not insulated. Better to have done it and not second guess.
Good day every day!

I just insulated the roof and I am very glad I did so. Its nice to be able to take a nap during the day without waking up sweating and halucinating like you've got malaria. Anyone's who tried a day nap in a tent in the sun knows the feeling. In California, you're not guaranteed a shady spot to camp. The Aluminum helps reflect a lot of heat as well. I'm not so concerned about the cold since that can be adjusted with extra blankets, sleeping bags, etc. and we don't camp in the snow.

We insulated for noise more than anything, it's sometimes very noisy in campgrounds and when we stop at a truckstop just to sleep on a roadtrip it's nice and quiet inside our little Eggscape, even surrounded by big rigs running their diesel engines all night.
