Very sweet! Finally a cool electric car that does not look like an "electric" powered vehicle. Now I'll just have to wait until the price goes down another 75 grand.

I like the plan to drive the price point down. At this rate, I better save my pennies and start collecting soda cans.

It will be right in your back yard, maybe in Pittsburg CA. :) Danny

Two questions--does it come with a trailer hitch for towing a tear, and has anyone come up with a good design for a tear that can be safely towed at 130 mph?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

Since it has only one headlight and looks like a jelly bean & not a roadster is it a car or a covered motor cycle?

I’d rather drive the roadster.

That puddle jumper looks like a fish out of water. With those tiny wheels it must really hurt to hit a chuck hole, dip or bump. Not much protection from other vehicles either, Danny

It will be real intersting to see what happens with electric cars, not only from the perspectie of performance, but how do we maintain our roads when electric cars are the primary vehicle on the road.

Currently we pay for road repairs by taxes on fuel. When the fuel comes from the grid and not the pump, those drivers are not paying for the upkeep of the road they are using for free. One can say that electric cars will pay because they don't pollute, but they just change the tailpipe unless their batteries are charged by something like wind or solar. It will be an interesting debate for sure. I bet we will see a whole bunch of toll roads.

If I remember correctly, Corbin motors filed for bankruptcy and shut down the Sparrow production. I was really looking forward to the Merlin and Roadster they were working on.

After a little searching, I found out I was right. Corbin History - http://corbinsparrow.com/_wsn/page2.html
