I plan on starting mine this year, we move here from California about a year and a half ago, and still settling in, I am looking hard at a weekender, but might go with a grasshopper.

We've had about 8" so far with a little bit of wind.
Supposed to get another 5 or 6" and 40 mph wind later ...

We plan to leave Tennessee on Saturday headed to Shelburn, IN just south of Terra Haute, and will be trailering our 55 Chevy truck up to Side's brother house.

Do you think we will have any problems?

Sid,it looks like the southern end of Indiana got rain, so it should be OK as far I can tell.
There some board members from that area who will hopefully chime in.

My response is yippee :applause:

Here in Maine we are in the middle of winter... spring is a long ways off.. and if it is Winter in Maine.. we want and need snow. Here at the house we only have maybe 6" on the ground... after settling.

The storm is not to hit here until sometime wed. [snowing into thursday].
Depending on where in the state.. we are to get anywhere from 6" plus... to 18" or more. With 40 + mph winds. While we have not had much snow the last couple of years... we take it in stride... not a big deal.

I will plow out my driveway... then go for a ski.

I'm right on the I-70 line also. Had some freezing rain this morning...just enought to coat the car a little bit. Ever since then, it has been constant sleet. I think there's about 8 or 10 inches of it. I've been out to shovel twice (just for something to do!) and it's like shoveling sugar.

I talked to one of my friends from work up in Westfield a little while ago and it's a whole different story up there. There's alot more snow and she said it's "blowing around like a blizzard". I'll bet there's no school again tomorrow.
