It's 67 degrees and a tad cloudy here in Georgia.

Sorry  I grew up in Chicago. Too cold to even visit!

10 or 12 inches of snow is a drop in the bucket! Redfield NY got 141 inches of snow in just 10 days!! Imagine having 12 feet of snow in your yard  We are expecting 2 to 3 feet from this storm coming up north.

I went in to work this morning but only stayed until about 12:30.
Went home to play in the snow with the kids.
We have about 10 inches so far and it's still coming down.
I love this stuff. I feel like I'm back in Michigan again!

Do you think we will have any problems?

The Federal Government in DC did the same thing this afternoon. Man am I glad I didn't go in - that always makes for a nightmare commute!

Thanks for the link Kurt. I guess I will have to take a good look on Friday. Supposed to pick the car hauler up from u-haul then, and head out Saturday morning.

I really need to get it move because it is taking up my parking space outside under the carport. Side has claimed the garage with the convertible and the Jeep!

Spitting snow here in Tennessee today with a high of 32, but no accumulation expected.

84 and sunny here right now and not a cloud in the sky.

Damn, I must be a freakin' genius for deciding to move down here.

Hey Ira, I live about 60 miles southwest of Kurt and have got about the same amout of snow in my yard. I would love this weather if it just werent for the commute to work. When I am dressed properly getting out when it is like this is a real blast. I have two boys and love sledding as much as they do.
Commuting on the other hand, that could get you killed when it is like this.
Just gotta be ready to lose power, but that is the same whereever you live.

We rarely got the real heavy stuff when I lived in NYC, but I loved it TOO when we got it for the first time that year.

But by the third time, enough was enough.

You may have a point there Ira.

We have had very little snow here this year.

I'll make a confession:

There is indeed a cloud here and there right now, just a few, but "not a cloud in the sky" painted a much more depressing picture for you snow-bound others, which is what I was after.

But another thing:

I just went out for a smoke, and the wind is eerily blowing pretty strong, like a hurricane is coming. There were SEVERE weather alerts for Boca last night (where my office is), lasting until around 7PM, but nothing ever happened.

NOW it feels like something real strange is going on.
Here we go again!

I ain't never let snow slow me down since I was a teenager (vaguely remembers that) I love the stuff. Let it snow, but if ya can't drive in it, stay the hell home outta my way!!
