Very nice. It is hard to find anyone to make window frames with a curve like that so that is pretty special.

Cary Thank You, But on that lil photo its not quite where we will have it...but that is where the idea started out as... In the beginning but the window will brought up onto the radius area..

Now the place that is making it told me I should of extended it abut 30cm,s more beyond the radius and have a slide back window...Now if that isnt nice...but not on this one.... well... not yet anyway..
On the next one it may be done that way...

But time will tell.

Best regards

When I built my tear, I knew that I had to have a front window, even though roof spars and the curved front would create a problem. I laminated and glued up matching curved window frame material and similar members for a window. Now I have a curved, openable plexiglas window complete with holder-opener and a screen. Works great. You can check it out in my construction photos at the link below. Actually it was fairly easy to do, you might give it some consideration.

Roly, just an ol' retired woodworker, and lovin' it. :)

Mine's plexiglass and no chips or breaks in 6000 miles. Carry a roll of duct tape just in case.

Scooter,

I like those little shelves you have in the corners. I should have done something like that. I may still put a shelf along the front wall.
I cut it three times and it's still too short!!

I have two front window and I love them. I like to have visibility on all side too. The top one does not open, but the bottom does. I f you tuck the window w/in th radius of the curve of the tear, the majority of water is directed away from (actually over ) the window opening unless the rain is deadon into the window surface.

I'll provide sketches later. I have got to go catch a plane.
