Hatch & License Plate holder

Postby Mary K » Wed Feb 14, 2007 3:24 pm

Heres for all you folks who like da pic's!!

I have started my hatch.

(I really need to get some hinges to mount the middle door)

I also made a cheesy License plate holder. (I used a jig saw, belt sander, and cheap imitation dremel tool to make it.

I chiseled out the back to hold the plate. Actually, this was going to be the front but messed it up.

I found a light here to mount on it.

Your usual Excellent work. The hatch is awsome. License plate holder is a great idea too. Couldn't find one I liked.

No doubt you will be finished by Spring.

You make me SICK!!!

When we finally meet at a gathering, can you finish my tongue box for me?

Awesome, quality work.

And thank God that I'm secure enough in my masculinity not to be offended by a broad outdoing me at every step by leaps and bounds.
Here we go again!

Thanks Ira, but your crazy!! Look at your TD man, It Rocks!! It's unique and has a style I have not seen in any other TD on this fourm!!!. It's original and creative. My God man, you have rope as trim, how cool is that??

When we meet at a gathering, and we will. I BET more folks will want a tour of your TD than mine!!

So don't go saying I'm outdoing you. Maybe I just take better pictures than you do. ;)

Thanks Auntie M. You are always the first to respond.

I hope I am done by spring. I just ordered my 1/8" luan to be picked up on Monday. I plan on skinning the inside and the first of two layers on the outside with it. I got it for $9 a sheet from the guy who supplies the cabinets for our shelters here at work. Bla, bla bla........
