SouthernPenn,

Thank you for sharing your wife's story with us. I am both moved to tears and yet comforted by the wonderful expressions of condloence and faith made by others on this board.

May the peace of the Lord be with you and yours.

Shortly before our twin boys were concieved, I lost my father after a grueling fight with diabetes. He had a stroke shortly after he retired and was unable to drive. He had worked very hard all his life to support his six children. When it came time to retire, he was unable to enjoy it. When he first found out he was diabetic he told my mother he didn't want to die a piece at a time. Unfortunately, that's how it worked out. Finally the dialysis was causing mini strokes and he just couldn't continue the fight. We lost him almost 5 years ago. The twins will be 3 in April. As Scott's father passed when he was just a child, I believe our twins are our fathers coming back to us. The fact that they look like our respective fathers is just frightening.
I thank God that my father isn't suffering any more. No one deserves that. And now he's with his best friend keeping God busy I'm sure. Our prayers are with you. Just hold on to the joy of that granddaughter. God bless you and yours in your time of need.

Russ , May God Bless you & give you strength each day & night . It is mostly the nights that are hardest during these times , as the day is usualy busy. I find that night time is the best time to speak your heart to God . My prayers go out to God for you.

SPR,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear wife. Being a Christian, I can understand the mixed emotions of losing a soul mate but knowing she is now with God. I will say a prayer for you and your family as you face this difficult time. When the time for tears comes, let them come. Healing will take time but she will never be far from your heart.

Blessings and comfort,
Joanne

Thank You for ll your kind words

Believe you me that since I wrote the opening, I have returned every night to see what your kind words had to offer. I feel your sincere words were enough to give me a good nights sleep since that terrible incident. I Thank you all for your time. It's like everyone of you were at the viewing and have since stayed with me through this ordeal. Did you ever realize just how much you could touch someone hurting so far away yet be so close. I think that others who have this pain could use this forum for such occassion. It truly did help me.

Thanks Russ
