Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Tom,
Don't you just know it!! We can send people to the moon but we can't cure a cold or race day traffic. Went to Vegas twice as a spectator and after it was all over I started to develop a strange desire to start choking people out. Hey, just wait things out, chill and "sky up" in the 'ol trailer until the dust settles.

I went to the Vegas race once. 4 hours on the city bus to get there. I'm not going back till something improves.

Lived in Daytona but I've never been to a race. My dorm room was right by the airport which is right next to the track. Sometimes you could go up into the bleachers for free when they were testing. The only problem was, all the cars were in grey primer so you had no idea who was on the track. Being students, we couldn't afford a ticket to the race.

It was interesting because it would be all types of cars. Some of the prototype cars would also test in preperation for the 24hour race.
