Bedding

Postby Boodro » Sat Jan 22, 2005 11:15 pm

Hi all , I have read a lot of posts here , but I have not seen much in the way of bedding. I am in the last stages of my build & am on the lookout for something. I have 45 inches from wall to wall & find that a twin mattress is too narrow & a full is too wide. What have others used? I would like to use a spring mattress . Any suggestions?? I have read that air beds are not very comfy, I find in my advancing years??? :fb
I would like more support. HELP!!!

Anyone used futon bedding so it can be folded out of the way?

The best place to go is a apolstry supply store. There are many thicknesses.
you might see what fabrics they offer too.

It is good you brought that up. I will have to measure my full size air matress that I will be starting with.

that is when my wife spoke up about 2 doors over one you do not have to climb over the other person to get up. :o  I did not think about that.

We have a "basement" or drop floor section in our tear. We keep chairs/TV tables & mini-spare in it.
To allow access, we sewed two flannel covers for our 3" foam mattress (actually four separate sections of foam) that allows the center 2 sections to flip back onto their respective end sections to allow access to the basement.
Flannel covers zip off for cleaning.
It is not the years in your life that matter, it's the life in your years.
