Creating a tear from a pop up in Sheboygan WI

Postby jschommer » Thu Feb 22, 2007 12:02 pm

I started with a well used, by mice and man, pop up camper. Stripped it down to the frame and am in process of creating my tear.

My plan is to create a "Wild Goose" inspired tear. The pop up frame is 6'6" X 8'. The sides of the tear are 5 X 10 and cut to shape. I plan on using the bed tray from the pop up to extend the back of the tear 3' and tent it in similar to the wild goose. The door of the pop up wil work nicely for the door of the tented area.

I have skinned the outside of the tear just prior to putting it out in the back yard for the winter. Once the snow is gone enough to get it out I will continue the project.

P.S.
My pic of the clown is me with the mask and teeth I made for the haunted house I play at in the area called the Splatter Haus.

Wow JS you have a real good start on your Wild Goose. Are you putting the bed across the wheel wells. I really wish I had. Looks good from here.
:applause: :applause:

PS what size tires have you got?

Hi John!
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

That clown mask creeps me out everytime I see it! The teeth are the best.
