security of your trailer

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Tongue coupler lock!... Also wrap safety chains around tongue and lock them...

IF wheels have holes in them, a cable lock through wheel through springs will help slow a thief.

Other wise If I want it, I going to take it no matter what you do....

Most thefts are spur of moment.... If you make it difficult they will go find one that is easier to steal.

I would be more afraid of the thief with the power tool scoping out trailer in my yard and studying when people are home or not... In other words a planned theft.

But all I have to do is back up to your trailer and wrap safety chains around my bumper and we are off......

You can buy short sections of the receiver tube that is on a hitch. Weld that to your tongue get yourself a short length of 2x2 tubing, 1/8 or 3/16 wall will do. Drill a hole in it for the pin and mount the coupler on the other end.

I really think the only surefire option is a wheel lock, like the ones used by traffic cops when your car is about to get towed. You'd basically have to grind it off, and any thief driving down the street dragging it along is going to look a little suspicious.

Of course, they could just load it onto a flatbed and be off. Hmmm, maybe the best idea is to invest in a lojack so that you at least know where it went when it's gone.

Just don't forget to cut the chain that I have wrap through the wheel and around my frame (I also do that if I'm really worried).

I don't think you will be driving very fast towing with safety chains..... so I should be able to catch up and beat the sh** out of you.

NOTHING will totally secure your trailer. You are just trying to slow down the scum bags or have them look for an easier target. I think my method does both.
