It must be Georgia Teardrop month! From SE Ga

Add another Ga tear owner to the group. I've been watching the forum for months and even emailed a few of you on here but never posted.

Long story short, sold a minivan and got a Jeep Commander. Go on a family trip with 4 kids to Disney every year and needed to replace the room we lost in the mini van and happened to see a Little Guy dealer on a trip to North Ga. About a month later we got a local dealer here in Savannah and then I started looking at them not only as a "stuff hauler" but also considered it for camping. After a few months of stopping in occasionally with no deals on the LG, I found the Yoder Toter online and seriously considered driving to Ohio last fall to pick one up but held off for some reason. This past Saturday when I drove past our dealer I noticed that they really aren't moving the ones they have so I thought I'd try one more time to see if they'd deal and low and behold they have only sold two in just under a year here and are ready to get rid of them so he made me a deal and I wrote him a check on the spot and drove home a brand new Little Guy 5 Wide Platform. I almost considered the 6 Sport they had for $300 more but didn't want the length or the big platform. If anyone is interested, they have the 6' Sport, several 4' in different models including the base cargo one, and a regular 5 wide without the platform and they are ready to deal, especially since the price increase.

But glad to be an owner finally and ready to get started hooking up my electrical and get out camping before it gets too hot.

Welcome to the playground MB. Happy to hear you got fixed up. Have you met Jim from Savannah? It is hard to imagine too hot to camp right now. We are still too cold to build.

Enjoy your new toy and I hope to meet all of you in April. :D

Oh and check out the gatherings. 8)

Welcome from another Georgia newbie. I too strongly considered the Little Guy when I was looking but wound up going with the Yoder Silver Shadow 5x8. I think they are both excellent trailers. Congrats on your purchase.

Reckon the tent days are over!
