Somebody decided to go on a Rampage tonight and broke into cars up and down my street. They broke into my work truck, smashing the driver's side window. Thank God they didn't steal anything that I could see...... I've got about $10,000.00 worth of equipment in there. Pisses me off tho... It's about -30C right now, and Tape doesn't stick in this cold so I can't cover the hole properly.Plus I now have to take 1/2 day off to get my window fixed...... It's going to be a coooold ride into work tomrrow morning... Can't sleep... too pissed.... :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

It's all the Druggies around here looking for money for their habits.... When will they learn that when yer building a teardrop you don't have any extra money.......
Besides, if they knocked on the door and asked nice..... I'd give them a couple of bucks........

John... :)

Your truck drive in to work & this eve solution~

You need some clear Sheet plastic .... able to fit over the whole door and
window. That way you can shut the door and pinch the plastic in the door jam
all the way around the door. Thus keeping you warm as you drive the streets
of Mississauga.

Haven't you got something out in your out-O-control shop?

Come on Canada ...

John,
If it's any consolation... I just found out I have a rat or rats living in the ceiling of my shop, right above the loft where my daughter's art studio is.
I was awakened to something dropping on the floor upstairs right above my bedroom a few nights ago. Turns out, a rat was stealing my daughter's tubes of oil paints, chewing through the metal tube and eating the paint. I assume if a certain color tasted good the rat would cart it off up into the ceiling, except he dropped one on the floor, which woke me up.
It looks like he made away with about 15 tubes of the stuff.
I decided to combat this problem with D-Con... My whole entire shop is now begining to get that smell of death in the air. Looks like I'll probably have swarms of flies to deal with pretty soon. Sure wish that sucker woulda made his way outside before the D-Con did its deed. :(

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. You must admit, you got off easy compared to what may have happened. That must be some seriously drug crazed losers to be stealing in that kind of weather. If it were me, I'd be trying to steal some heat. If they catch them, tell the police you'll waive restitution if they'll allow you to smash their hands with a dead blow hammer.

John, Sorry to hear about that.

Same thing happen in my Dads townhouse complex. They broke in to every car that was open, even stole my Dad's "old man" sunglasses.. go figure...

Well, another gentlemen in the complex left is keys, and wallet in his car and he left the door open. Needless to say they stole his car.

The police in a small town about 50 miles away found the car upside down in a ditch with the 15 year old driver still in it...His buddies (that made the heist with him) took off and left him there. Of course he narked on them and all were caught,

That's justice!!

John , Sorry to hear what happen .
Back in the late 70's my uncle lived in the Washington DC area . He bought Aluminum siding for for his house. And at night these punks would come thru the alley and pepper the side of his house with rocks . My uncle would get out of bed but could never catch them . Called the cops but they could'nt do much . So one night he went in the alley and hid behind the bushes . Sure as hell here they come . They started throwing rocks at his house . My uncle steps out from behind the bush and proceded to give four punks a wood sampoo with an ax handle . My uncle ran around the house and in the front door . He went to the back door and could here scream'n from the one's that were still awake. The neighbors asked one of them what had happened , and he said some old man beat us with a bat .
My uncle was 68 at the time .
I know this doesn't help you much , but I thought you might like to here about vandallizism with a happy ending . Kerry

Ontario is changing

Postby Guy » Tue Mar 06, 2007 8:11 pm

Sorry guys,

Ontario is changing although Brampton always was a little tougher. When I lived in Toronto we never even thought of that type of crime. And if it did happen it would probably make the National on CBC.
Regards,

Guy
