Well back home again and straight to work on the Voyager... Success on the 2nd Hatch ....The photos taken in the early night ..pitch dark outside.

My son and I got a lot done and with success in the cold ... On the 2nd Voyager hatch.. Have to say it fits like a glove this time and it was easier
than thought once we got rolling..Now its Dry Fit and next its the final adjustments and Installation.

Working out in the cold dont help much... :?

     I set me a Deadline.....And the wife says.... Yea Right... :D :D

That 2nd hatch has been a longtime coming... But now I know that the Countertop has enough room...Kerry its once you get over the jitters, and being afraid of messing up again is what had me worried but as we got going it wasnt too bad... so here we are.... Finally...and Whew! :coffee:

Now its the final building on the hatch and sanding plus the Marine Coating... We may stain it yet before that to the Mahogany color..

Ahhh soon to install the cabinet doors in the galley..and few other goodies we have waiting...

Thanks for the compliment ...

Nice Job!

I don't see how you do it...building a tear outside, in the cold...
It's hard enough to do when you have a heated garage.

Must be that Finnish persistence ;)

Good Morning Rob 0208 Sunday Morning here... I have to say it is the Finnish persistence and I guess being used to the cold...And also the eagerness to get it done no matter what...

As you can see from the area there that there wasnt too much snow left
while my son and I were taking the photos but then it got even colder and started to snow just as we pushed the tear in the porta garage..

I guess a lot of good luck was with us too... :worship:

Thank You for the compliment.

Thanks Auntie M.... He is getting to be quite the young man.... he had a great time out there too even though I could tell he was getting cold as it got dark.....

Finally I feel as though I had a heavy brick lifted off my shoulder..  Nice feeling. Even though I still have the Hinge to contend with... sort of a jittery feeling on that yet... Is it best to cut that now and dry fit ? Or how? should I proceed..?

Also I need to think about the (hatch pumps or openers are they?) Darn I lost the name for it again...thats what happens when speaking in different languages... or a case of CRS...

Thank You for the nice words..

PS Our lil helper was out in the tear as well (late 2006 photo) but hasnt change much from then.. ;)
