Betty, beer bread sounds great! It calls for 1 beer right? Bring me the other 5 or 11 or 23.... Just kidding, I'll have "Happy Camper" wine.

Should we book another day or two just to eat all this great food?

Sodapop,

Beer bread is about the only way I can take beer. I had a Dr. prescribe beer one time and I just couldn't drink it. Now wine is a different story, but it causes me to stop up and I can hardly breath. Some times you just have to suffer, right?

I am getting really anxious about BB, just hope they don't give me too much guff over my motorhome. No, really I would feel left out if they didn't.

Betty :D

Hey Betty, You will not be the only non-teardropper at BB . I sold my Kampmaster last year and the new Modernistic isn't close to campable. So I'm opting for the "tiny travel trailer " part of T&TTT and bringing my 13' Scamp. Since Mad Jack isn't comming , I could add some cajun flavor to the pot luck with a large pot of gumbo!! Either chicken and andouii sausage or maybe add some shrimp if no one has shell fish/iodine issuses. What do you think ? Any one interested? My usual "batch" should feed 20 -25 people or 12-15 hungry cajuns.

Ron, that sounds great to me. I don't get much Cajun food any more. We used to go to the Boiling Pot on Memorial but I guess that really wasn't Cajun food was it? We used to go to Louisiana a lot but haven't been there in several years, (since we retired) so am looking forward to your gumbo.

You know I can't understand why we haven't seen any td's in the area since there are so many around.

Betty,
Those td's are elusive little critters, aren't they. Don't give up though, they're out there.

Not to worry! By the time you get finished with all the walking to and from the different camps you can eat extra. 8) ;)

Hey y'all..... we're down to less than 2 weeks !!! The Jewel Box got a little more attention to detail this weekend with hatch props on now, and some interior painting and trim work on the galley, etc. And thinking of going CAMPING!!!!!

If you haven't ever checked it out, at the www.campadk.com website (it's changed, click on the referred to by teardrop trailers) then look for camp checklist. I saved it to excel here at work and I personalized it some and print one out a few days before a td trip (like about now) and then use it
the night before and morning of the trip to make sure I've got everything. Of course once the Jewel Box is "done" and stocked, it will be much easier!!

And is anyone bringing firewood ??? Just wondered... we're getting a little rain this week here in central OK , don't know about there ...

11 days !!!
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

I just can't visualize it. I need pictures. Especially the hatch props.
