Thanks Tom,

These subzreo temps are really making look forward to the Cooler Near the Lake Gathering. I hope the 'Cooler" in the name refers to the type that snuggly fits under the hatch of your Camp Inn and not a breeze off the lake! ;)

We are really getting a great turn out for this spring gathering
Don't forget to PM Duke with your Forum name and your real names along with City/State so he can make name tags so everyone can get aquainted. He has come up with a great logo for the gathering.

I know we all talked about who was bringing dogs, but I can't remember if we covered the kids. I have a 3 and a 5 year olds and I can leave them at the out-laws or bring them...I guess it depends on what everyone else is doing. Let me know.

This is the first mention of kids. Dogs are alright but if I wanted to listen to a bunch of stinkin kids I would have brought my own.
Please take this in a humorous spirit. Camping is my best memories of growing up, so I think kids are almost required, unless like me your are too big to bring along. You know, grown and on their own. So,I would say, bring em along.

As long as the kids don't bite, there shouldn't be any problem. :R

I think kids are the best people on earth. Some of the best times I had growing up were camping.

Well as you can tell we're readers of the forum, not message posters on the forum, but just wanted to let everyone know that we are bringing our kids....2 boys ages 5 and 7. We will also be bringing our Beagle, for all you wondering about the dogs.
Very much looking forward the the Cooler Near the Lake gathering! Finally some warmer weather!

Welcome neighbor! I get down by Chilton alot.

I will be bringing the 3 year old girl and 5 year old boy. The 2 year old german shepard goes to the kennel. With the kids the dog can be a little over-whelming. Looking forward to meeting you.

Also anyone that will be in the Green Bay area this weekend we will be having another building weekend. I am hoping to have it mostly all done except the paint and trim. Everyone is welcome. I have plenty of beer. Also I make a great Old Fashion....after the power tools are turned off.

Boy, ,my son will have a ball. He is 4 and will be almost 5 at the Cooler. So, he will have kids to play with. My daughter is probably too little to partake in the playing with the older kids but will be busy being played with by plenty of adults, she does that, the little flirt.

I say the more the merrier be it kids, dogs, cats, wives, girlfriends, hitchhikers, or whatever. I've met most of the kids already, and they're well behaved little bundles of joy!!
I too am looking forward to CNTL and getting this season off to a big start.

Tom, I have no experience with this but I have heard it rumored that it is never good to have wives and girlfriends at the same gathering!

Has Joe booked a site?
