Calling all car nuts...

The magazine I work for has put together some YouTube videos promoting our Magazine. If you are an avid car enthusiast, like me, you may want to check these out -- and check out our magazine. The newest videos are about articles in our next issue, to hit the streets any day now.

BTW, I hope this isn't considered spam, since I am an active member of the forum. And, proceeds from the magazine do go toward the production of my ultimate lightweight teardrop. 8) :D

What struck me is what an ugly Bertone Aston Martin that is - it turns a sporty car into a drop-top saloon! I had to go and check, and it turns out that this is one of Bertone's earliest cars, so he obviously had to practice a bit before he became one of the greatest ever car stylists!

LOL. That's a Porsche color calle Viper Green. All the RUF Auto Centre owners have RUF cars of their own, and this is one of them. Each has a nickname -- or two, or three. This one has multiple nicknames, from the Green Hornet, to Greenie Meanie, to my favorit, Kermit.

Nobody laughs after they drive it, though. 8)

Wow. You are the first I've heard say that. Beauty is, indeed, in the eye of the beholder.

Bertone does have a reputation for designs that some people love, and others hate. I'm a big Ghia fan, myself.

It just seemed a heavy-handed design to me - fashionable in its day, maybe, but graceless - though now I go and look at the original DB2, it's not as low a car as the later Aston Martins were.

But just look at this Allemano body on the same DB2 chassis - pretty much the definition of what "drop dead gorgeous" should look like, I'd say....

Everything in those garages is up for auction in April. Bring cash. 8)
