And what procedures to start off with in finding the proper postion of the fenders? And how do I start that in general?

Looking good Heikki,
Those nice big fenders could be painted with cans of paint but I think I would spend the money and have a body shop shoot them. that or invest in a good compressor and gun and get some quality paint and shoot it yourself. Now that I think about it there is a company that sells automotive paint in spray cans you could go that route but they aint cheap. the big things are the prep for the paint and keeping dust dirt bugs out of the paint before it dries. A lot of the other things like runs and drips can be wet sanded and polished out.
As far as fender placement just make sure you can get your tire on and off and give yourself some height for suspension travel and you are good to go. I think I have about 3"-3.5" of space on mine, it works for me. good luck.

Im making a skrting to install on the bttom of our tear at the moment so I,ll wait a bit on the fenders... I think I,ll ask my friend to paint them for me... as he,s a pro and does it everyday...might as well go the extra mile on it..hopefully it will look somthing like this.

That sounds like a good idea!

I did come across an old thread recently with the subject "Painting fiberglass fenders?" that you might like to read.

Hey hatch is looking great. I will repeat MK's advice on the floor, only I would put both in at the same time. Make a tent and let them both go together in the slot.
