I believe that 48Rob put that profile window in his Cabin Car...don't think they were the "official" windows however...they look really nice and "made" for his trailer...Doug

Thanks Jeff but I am in the UK and shipping them would cost a fortune.

I would stick them on ebay judging but the amount they are selling them on that website you should get a fair bit.

I havn't even started my teadrop yet so the windows are the least of my worries.

I have moved to a new commercial unit though so now I have somewhere to work under cover.

Got my VW to restore yet

The ones for the small windowed early VW's are the expensive ones. I had a hard time finding a reasonablly priced set for Odie's 56. The larger ones that they used in the mid 60' thru the 70's aren't worth too much. Those are the ones that I have extras of.

Once I finally finish some of my VW projects, I may have to ebay the leftovers, but a guy just never knows when he might need some of that stuff. I'm thinking about making a Baja this summer, and wishing I still had all of the great off road parts I got rid of a couple of years ago

I'm thinking about getting a 61 Single cab back on the road. Don't plan on doing much to it right now, just getting it roadworthy. I'm currently driving a 77 Standard, and want to get rid of it.

Also have a 73 Thing in pieces. Had the body media blasted, and need to blast the pan before I start putting it back together. Have most of the parts for it, including a fresh 1776 motor, just need some time to finish it.

Been spending a lot of time at the VolksRods page http://www.volksrods.com/ and been thinking about trying my hand at a chop top. I've several "parts" bugs laying around that could be donors for that project.

Of course, before I spend too much time with the VW's, I need to finish my Tear so we can use it this summer. Plan to pull it with Odies 2000 TDI Beetle.

Hey Jeff,
Check out our '73 thing. Bill stripped it down to the frame and did all the body work and painting himself in our small 1 car garage. It really came out well especially considering Bill has never done any body work or painted a car before he started this little project. The surf stickers are on magnets, we won the best theme award at a local thing show. The theme was surfing.
