Slideout Stove Table

Postby Classic Finn » Mon Apr 02, 2007 10:26 am

Can anyone tell me how this would be installed since I dont want to put too many boards or such onto the Mahogany...Could it be installed to slide out by setting the slides directly onto the bottom of the countertop ?

The Counter is 22 inches in depth.. So Im going to cut the side piece the same with and curve the front so it matches the rest.. of the counter.

Heikki, they make bottom mount slides...don't know about availability over on your side of the pond...you cannot use regular "side" slides for this...

I don't believe either of these is what you're looking for. The first one which says "bottom mount" actually sits on the side of the draw/shelf and then are screwed to the unit by those L shaped brackets/protrusions --- that is they are screwed to the bottom of the unit but the bracket itself sits on the side.
I could be wrong!

Finn

What you want (I think)is a top mount drawer slide.
That is if you want to mount the shelf under the counter to pull out and then set the stove on.

There is a place that sells the accuride slides here too for 40 - 50 Euro a pair. or 40.00 EUR = 53.4682 USD UGH.

Heikki, perhaps you need to list your country for those who don't know you are so very far away. ;)
