Great Trip

Postby Bodyman » Tue Apr 03, 2007 3:15 pm

I just got home at 1:30 this afternoon. Just in time to see my wife off to work (Someone has to, right?)
Thanks to everyone for making a Northerner welcome. Beavers Bend was my first ever group camping experience. I had a great time.
I took my time on the way home Saw some beautiful country in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. I drove short days and stayed over two nites. I even checked out some other parks along the way for future overnites. Round trip was 2214 miles without a problem.
The worst thing about the trip was getting home. Windy, rainy, with temp in the mid thirties here. Expecting mid twenties tonight. The grass has greened up but trees aren't even budding out yet. I want to head back south.
Thanks again to everyone for a great time.

Randy-
Glad to hear you made it home ok. It was nice visiting with you. Anytime you need some southern hospitality, you know where to find it. Just check out the South Central area, find a gathering, and hit the road!

Glad to hear you made it home safe, warm, and kinda dry  .

Right now it is chilly here north of Dallas.
