If the refuse, take the rifle and ammo away from them and ship them to Iraq anyhow.

Somebody can't get a fast-food order right (or tell the difference between ORANGE pop and COKE - personal story...) and you want to trust them with our national security?!?

Gas in my city was $2.66 yesterday. My wife had a coupon for .10 cents off each gallon, so we filled one JEEP up, pulled it forward and filled the second JEEP. $95.00 tab!

I gave 29 years of my life so people in this country could speak English, be an American, be proud and free. When some moron speaks his so-called native tonque in front of me, I consider that to be a slap in the face and I will not stand for it.

This country is seriously divided and I foresee a 2nd Revolution if some other drastic event on the scale of 9-11 doesn't occur and brings us all together again.

I couldn't agree more. I'm an Isolationist by heart. I say close the borders and let the doggone world figure it out for themselves.

And if they miss us when we're gone, tough. And if they don't miss us when we're gone, that's okay with me too.

8) Today's high in the Redwoods was a balmy 70+ with Supreme Gas clicking away on the pump for $3.55 per gallon, regular running up the tab at $3.37. My lil ol' Nissan sucked in $40.00 to the penny before it clunked off. But wasn't the drive home south and heading into a Spring Break a better thought to focus on? :R TDN Yes, I thought it was too....

Happy Spring, Passover, Easter to you folks out there in TearDropLand.

The McDonalds I USED to go to screwed up my orders time after time.

And these were good old-fashioned Americans--half high school kids, half working poor.

MOSTLY WHITE, TOO!!! (Can you believe it?)

I think it's just a cheap shot to blame the country's problems on people with an accent. I mean, xenophobia isn't new, so shouldn't we learn SOMETHING from history?
Here we go again!

In spite of the reckless bantering - gasoline in our area JUST rose to $2.79 or was that $2.84? The gas station signs are starting to look like the reels on a slot machine.

3.20 Here in Sac...today...Minden is lookin like an expensive trip!!! fortunately not a lot of 5 star restaurants between here and there, unless you count Little America, and for those of you over the road persons that can recall a "Stewarts sandwich" from a "radar range" ala late 70's...that's what I'll be dining on...maybe a Western thing however......Doug

The difference being: Slot machines occasionally pay YOU. These suckers only pay off for the oil companies. :x
