We sell the fender boxes were I work. You can get one for the driver side, one for the passanger side and put them together to make the fender. The doors will open the right way. The hinges are welded on the boxes we sell.

Has anyone tried the running boards?

Many miles and many tears. Times were hard but now they're changing.
You should know that I'm not afraid.

Fornesto, I really like the idea, if you can keep them from overpowering the side (too big).
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

Well looks like I might have to rethink  the 35 ford fenders I was going to use and come up with something in the way of this design, as for the shoes I am building in an area in the foot board for those.
