How many folks keep a log book for mileage and maintenance?

We have a log book but it's for road trips in general. Not necessarily when we have the tear. Keeping it up is another story.

I have a palm computer that I use as a log book for all my vehicles. I don't log any info about the tear though.

BTW the palm is fantastic for keeping a camping checklist. I use a freeware program called handy shopper.

I do keep track of oil changes in my van, I grease axle bearings once per year, rotate tires, etc.... but all by mileage and seasonal..

Same here Arne.

When the seasons change...so does my oil.

And when its this time of the year, and I'm bored to death, I pull the trailers into the shop, Turn up the radio, do the wheel bearings and detail them.

Helps get me in my "Spring Time" mood.

Hey, another good Idea!! I have 3 Palm 3's (I have to have my electronic books to read.) I could use one for the TD log!!

I keep a TD journal in which I log the mileage, campground and site, weather, places visited, notes on restaurants and various thoughts on what I did during the day. Sort of a TD blog in book form...

I keep a log book. I write down such things as mileage, nights in the trailer, who slept in it, where we were, any maintenance, etc. I do wish I had kept more info. Such as camp site number, cost, things that we did, places that we enjoyed nearby. And even fuel costs. I think that I'll just start that now.

Yep, Log book. I just keep up with mileage. Hate to write. Do more than enough writing in my job. Comes to about a 300 page book each year. So the log = date and mileage. That's it.

I have 4 kids, 3 of which travel with me. Two of us sleep in the teardrop, and the other 2 in the back of my Suburban. Don't be getting any wild ideas! My husband might get the wrong idea about my trips!

I actually keep several log books.
A holdover from my aviation days.
Used to keep a building log for the aircraft. Maintenance logs for both engine and airframe. And of course a flight hours log.

So my teardrop has a build log, Will also have a log for mileage/maintnance and a trip log.

Sounds like a bit much, but it's always fun to go back years later for a trip down memory lane.

We keep a log book for our Prius ....
it will not be pulling the trailer.... unless prices go over 5 a gal.

But for my trailer I think I will get a Guest book. ....

I may put together a book of my build.... I started one on cost of my build but got lost in the numbers...
