death of Larry LaPrise

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

death of Larry LaPrise

Postby len19070 » Mon Apr 09, 2007 5:02 pm

With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death last week of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey" died peacefully at the age of 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in..... and then the trouble started.

Hey, that's a great song!!!

I got a sermon built around the Hokey Pokey.

I will spare you the explanation :wacky I can see you sighing with relief and wiping you brow :phew: :SH :SH

Sorry to hear of Larry's demise. Such a profound thinker

Perhaps an exorcism is called for in this case ;)
