Good we're not racing!! I"m dragging up the rear.

Just finished second sanding and need one more filler coat.

Have the Epoxy, Primekote and Urethane top coat. BUT will have to wait 2 weeks for the epoxy to cure before painting.

Watching paint dry again.

If it's not broken, you're not trying hard enough.

Yeah, that waiting game is not fun... Hey Geron, most epoxies should be fully cured in 3-5 days depending how thick you put it on... Lot's of TD are coming alive for sure, I hear lots of people talking about paint, etc., so the "winter" projects are starting to roll. My interior isn't even started, I'm just working on getting the TD "dry" and functional right now. First coat of primer to go on tonight.

I am doing the same thing...just getting it useable. Besides...should I go with a big shelf in the inside or a 19" flat screen???
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

 , well, my TD will not have a TV. I'll have a "weather" radio, but other than that "CDs and tunes" are gonna have to suffice. We're always on the boat most of the day anyway or playing some games or something. And I'm mixed on my galley... I have a chuck box that fits in the there perfect w/ the cooler and other stuff. It might be nice to leave it open - basically a "trunk"... still debating on that one.

First coat of epoxy primekot primer on... man, the solvent you use and the primer itself is VERY strong in odor... I recommend plenty of ventilation... I can see EVERY roller mark, hopefully the sanding and 2nd coat will help that out.

Critter... I hear ya on the goof ups... but it's a learning curve for all of us... maybe you used a tape that was made in Taiwan, they read differently  . I just sanded the first coat of primer and I'm gonna wait on hour to let some dust settle then go "tact" it up and put the 2nd coat on. I hope I like my paint...as expensive as it was I wanna great job. I've got some places that aren't perfect either, but I've NEVER done "body" work and well, I don't know that I ever want to do it again. I've sanded more on this TD than I have all other projects combined. I plan on unveiling it at night.

You gonna post some photos for us see... I bet it looks better than you think...we're all our own worst crittic.

Hey Keith,
The tape was a good one and i read it fine.I had the hinge on perectly and it wouldn close so i had to relieve it with my die grinder,Relieved wrong side. Not this time ,I wont take it off to cut it.
I prolly am my worst critic but i still want it at least half a$$.
Ol moneybags aint had time to do pics yet,she got 1 int and 1 galley up in gallery and had to do something else but well get em up soon! :D Paint purty!

AWESOME, I'm glad you like it... and I know what you mean about 1/2 a$$... if nothing else, at least I can say I tried to do a nice job... it looks pretty good w/ just the primer, but the paint is prolly a little trickier, never done that "roll/tip" method... I'm just gonna go thin a couple times and try to get 'er good.

yeah...gotta put it on w/ a really thin foam roller and in really thin coats...I used an "epoxy" roller cover and then I tipped off w/ a pretty expensive 100% China Bristle brush. I'm sure your paint looks just fine... I thought mine stunk too..but now that I'm moving on to "other" stuff I've kinda forgotten about it.. at least it's "protected"... now I'm onto building doors.
