Move out of the Newbie section?

Postby BrianW » Tue Apr 17, 2007 9:13 am

At what point should a Newbie move out of the Newbie section?
I am about to start my build and i know i will have questions from time to time and also want to post pics of my progress (It will be a slow process, you know doing home stuff and kids stuff).
Which index(s) should i go?

General rule I guess is... you introduce yourself in the Newbie section, then bounce back and forth from General Discussion to Trailer Secrets to
Teardrop Construction,,, all the while skimming thru the User Polls and the Hall of Fame.

Finally you post pictures in your album and then in the General Discussion or Teardrop Contruction pages and MadJack gives you a

Then if you hit snags you post in the Electrical Thread , and get excited and start looking at the Recipes and the Camping locations threads.... then you get a little off track, or stressed and cry for help in the Off Topic and find out you have many a friend here already !
Next thing you know, you're posting what location you've booked at a local campout, post a recipe you tried there, and next thing you know you're getting questions from new newbies about YOUR build !!! :applause:

PRICELESS
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

You can only leave the newbie section when you've learned to post your avatar.

That's a joke, by the way.
Here we go again!

Hi Brian,

The Newbie section was really started to we could properly welcome new folks to the list. Sometimes first-time posters get overlooked when they start out in one of the other sections.

I look forward to seeing pictures of the build.

Joanne

Doug, it is all rumor and conjecture at this point...I may be wrong but, I think it may still be in development...waiting for a meeting of great minds as it were....
