elmo,
I too got my moldings Grant. We haven't put them on, but I have bought the screws and put together a shopping list.
For the edge molding going at the top, we got #8s, 1" length stainless steel and you could get either pan head or truss head. Many of our screws we got truss head because the head is flatter and a little bigger than pan heads. For our roof we used 3/8" bendable plywood so that is probably a little thicker than what you used is one reason we used 1".
We also are using these screws for the hurricane hinge.
For the drip molding we are using #8 Truss head, 1/2" (we have 3/4" walls)
We are using what Grant would call counter top edging ( it is flat with just a little curved edge on one side that just barely goes over the edge) on our 3/4" galley wall, we are using the same molding around the door opening except where the hinge is. For this we are using #6s (the predrilled hole is a little small for the #8s) in a 3/4" length. Again we are using the truss heads because they are a little flatter and stainless steel.
We are also using these same screws for the T-molding as my husband wants a smaller head.
Depending on how you do your hatch that is a different deal, we are planning on using some kind of rivet but haven't gotten that far.
We tended to get the same size screws as we could, where some could problably be 3/4" of an inch instead of 1", depending on where you buy them you can get a better deal if you buy more.
I listed all the things that were going to need screws and how many then figured out what size I wanted. We bought like 350 screws.
Hope this helps.
Martha
