Custom made windows frames

I am in the prosses of working with the doors on my teardrop. I have doors that are rounded somewhat like the doors on the Camp-Inn campers(3 small rounded corners and 1 large rounded corner) , and I would like to put a slider window in that follows the outline of the door including the large curve, I would like to know if any one has worked with that type of window channel ,as in bending it or knows if there is a place to custom make a window the same profile as the door?

Shamrock, have you considered the possibility of building the windows yourself? I don't think it would be that difficult. Make a frame that matches the door profile, then, using a slot cutting bit in your router make two slots for sliding plexiglass or Lexan window panes and you are pretty much there...

Yes ..I did think about making my own frames from wood, but I was thinking if it was made from aluminium framing material it would look more pro, being that the body will be skined in aluminium also.

I was kinding of thinking along the same line as you. Austin harware has some cool gasket material that you could easily have some glass/plexiglass cut to any shape and use this to seal it. I Don't know how you would open the window though. I have been kind of thinking of doing mine like a lot of popup campers are with another door inside the actual door that is a screen door or just a screen that zips into the door opening. Then from the outside you would see your door and window whatever shape and when you need some air just open the outside door and leave your screen shut.

Yes .. Getting the window material is easy enough. but i was hoping to find some aluminum window channel that is used and bend it myself.

I take it then that there is no one out here that knows where to find window framing material?
