Free Icebox rebuilt

Postby Airspeed » Wed Apr 18, 2007 3:35 pm

This is the icebox I got out of the free trailer I got that I also got my free trailer frame and axle out of, It was a disgusting mess But I was able to sandblast it,clean up the chrome and paint it for less than $10,not bad for free, I am going to insulate the heck out of it and put in a couple of shelves later today, then it goes in the tear!

Thank You very much!!
I am very happy with the way it's turning out,and getting closer every day. I cant remember building anything this fun and can see why some of you build two or three or four! I already have some ideas for the next one. Thanks again! Aaron

Very nice, I love the curved cabinets. What are you doing in the space on the floor between the cabinets?

Thats where the retractable floor goes, It will have a box built into it for storing my BBQ, the floor will slide out of the way when the hatch opens,
Thanks! Aaron

Do you have any pictures of this retractable floor? I am hoping to have the same thing with the cabinets built out to the back, but concerned about the shin buster in the middle. I love your idea, hope you don't mind my stealing it.
