I will be making my usual breakfast for everyone !! and will make a dutch oven dessert for Saturday night.

Gary also made a dinner bell to call everyone to chow !

Cant wait to see everyone. Has been a rough couple of weeks. Gary's mom had a massive stroke and was in a coma for 9 days before she passed last Friday. Today is the visitation and tomorrow the funeral so we look forward to some friendship/fellowship and rest.
Where ever we raise the hatch is home.
Darn blank states keep getting further away and we keep traveling slower ain't never gona get this map full.

Trudy and Gary,

My prayers will be with you during this time of loss.

Psalm 34:17-19

"17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them;
he delivers them from all their troubles.

18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 A righteous man may have many troubles,
but the LORD delivers him from them all; "

Sincerely,

Todah

OK! Just made our reservations! We'll be there Friday evening sometime. Lucas gets out of school at 3:00 and I'll be ready to go! Since I've never been to Cedar Hill, I don't really know how long it will take for us to get there. Hope we don't get lost!

Best way to avoid dallas traffic is to arrive late.

If it were me coming from OKC, I'd take 35E south in Denton, Follow that south for about an hour, exit 67 south, then follow it till you see the exit for FM 1382. Turn right at the Traffic light (this is a double right turn, be careful). The park is a bout 3 miles down on the left.

If you're arriving early(5-6 pm) there's really not going to be a way to avoid much of the traffic.

IF you want to mapquest it youself, park address is:

Gary and Trudy, please accept our condolences on your loss.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Charles and I had already planned to go to Waco to the jet boat races so that's where we will be Saturday.

My brother will be in from Florida so I will get to see him on Sunday. That means Charles will be working on the 3rd teardrop with a slide out.

Have fun.................

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. Mom has been on a slow downward spiral for about 6 months that came to a crisis 2 weeks ago tomorrow morning with a massive stroke but it took another 9 days for her to pass on. Right now what I feel most is relief and joy that her ordeal is over and that she is at peace in heaven.

I know what you mean, Mel's mom had been sick for a few years. It seemd that each time she went back to the hospital it was for something worse than the last. She was in constant pain so when she finally did pass, it felt more like a relief. Mainly because we knew she was no longer in pain and was in a better place.

We are sorry for your loss, we know exactly how feel.
