I assume that there is plenty of wood for sale at the FCP camp ground but I have to ask anyway.

We usually bring wood from home and buy more if we need it. People are always leaving firewood at their sites when they check-out, someone will eventually come along and scarf it up and use it. We were always told it was good camping etiquette to leave a few pieces of wood for the next people who use your site.![]()

The DEC doesn't usually issue any type of fire restrictions unless it is an unusually dry summer and normally that is for the backcountry. I don't think we'll have a problem in the spring.
