Fantastic site, and a great bunch of people from what I have seen and read. Campers and builders are a great combination. I have learned a lot already. Look forward to meeting you someday

Rick,

Welcome to the looney bin! There are a lot of great folks around here and no lack of good building ideas. Even if you don't have a tear yet, you should consider attending one of the gatherings. It's amazing how many great ideas you'll get as you walk through an look at the trailers.

trolley

Postby deputydogrick » Fri Apr 27, 2007 9:42 am

Brick and all,
I did build the trolley, thank you for the kind words. I belong to another group called Engines and Wheels. WWW.smallcarplans.com scroll down to the engine and wheels news letter issue 58 if your interested it profiles the trolley, also great resource for building stuff. Be careful though you might just catch another Bug 8) . Joanne, Martha and Auntie M, thank you for your words of welcome also. I have already started a variation of a camp inn raindrop style, with a slight nautical twist. I like the bunk bed set-up perfect for my 2 grandchildren. E-bay and other parts arrive daily, unfortunately my job keeps getting in the way of my projects.
Regards
Rick

Yep... Rick, I'm familiar with that site... I kinda got interested back a few months ago when I ran across the Cycle-Karts site... I'm still gonna build me one soon.

We had some fun with it here on the forum:

Welcome Deputy Dog, being new to this forum I am truly amazed at the quality of the the threads on all aspects of Tear Drop construction and ownership.
Thanks Deputy andBrick for posting that link to the miniature vehicle site. If my wife catches me browseing through there; I'll be homeless. I can hear her now, "You're not getting a miniature anything until you finish that Tear Drop".

This is me testing how well my tear drop rolls without a tow vehicle.
