Scott,
I would say if you bought a HF trailer, bolted it together bungied a cooler and a tent on to it you would be good to go. Maybe a lawn chair to kick back by a fire.

This gathering is getting a great turn out :applause:

I'm a few steps ahead of that I have power. Just a hole lot of trim, galley and inside cabinet work to be done. Oh yeah and lights to make it street legal.

Of corse it's never seen the road so hopefully it will stay together. I hope to take a short roadtrip with it before I take off on the 18th just to show it off and see how it pulls.

Looks like site 244 has been booked That was the last site in the Sugar Ridge area. Sites 202 on down are open in the Turkey Hollow area.
So jump right in there there's still room.

Just 19 day's left

I've got one door cut and the primer on this weekend.

Nothing like pushing it to the very edge.

So is everyone else ready.
Build wise I'm sure everyone is ready for the time away.
I just need a weekend of no sawdust

I'm almost ready....I just put electric brakes on my trailer. That required a new axle, a controler in the tow vehicle, cutting the wheel openings larger so my wheel can be installed, redoing the trim around the wheel opening. Now I need to adjust the brakes and do a test run.
THEN I'll be ready.

Joe were you at Spring Mill last year? I recall a trailer like yours as I was walking around gawking. Didn't get a close look though.

I got some work done on the Little Guy this weekend. Added a a shore power plug in and cut a shelf for over our heads in the sleeping area. Rocky is in the process of painting the parts before I install them. We also started making plans for the galley.

We plan on a shake-down outing this weekend. The weather is looking perfect.

Scott, yea I was there. I had to leave Sat Morning. I plan on being at Turkey Run Friday Evening till Sunday afternoon.
I adjusted my brakes last night and if the rain holds off, I'll test them this evening. Then I'm ready!

Scott

You were talking about T-shirts for the gathering. Have you gone any farther with that? Rocky and I would be interested.

Hadn't heard from anyone on it, I'd still very much like to do it. Let me get with my local T-Shirt shop tomorrow and I'll get back with you.

Any one else interested?

Scott, there's not much time left but it would be nice to have a shirt with a "Turkey Run Gathering" logo on it.

If you want, I'll work up a simple ""pocket" script for the gathering.

Turkey Run State Park
Teardrop Trailer Gathering
May 18-20, 2007

This lettering (center justify) in "Brush Script" text style would look pretty good for a T-Shirt.

XL for me.
