Hello All...

I am a newbie and am looking forward to learning a lot from you all. Right now, I am trying to purchase my first TDT.

Let me know what you think...I think I will go up to $4595 or something.

I am looking at bidding on this Silver Shadow Teardrop. Can anyone tell me about this? I looked at the website for Little Guy, but I didn't see anything about these trailers (by Yoder Toter).

It's MSRP is 7995, but I don't know what is fair or what the reserve is.
Any advice?

Well Teardrop Tickler, I don't know a lot about the Shadow but the one you list is very nicely done. The current bid doesn't seem too high.

We have members who have silver shadows. I am sure they will be along here shortly.

PS when you get it we would love a report and some :pictures:

Enjoy

If I remember correctly, that 10' model is about $5500 reserve. Bid what you feel comfortable with. I've them come back with a second chance offer and tell me exactly what he would sell it for. I don't know if they still do that.

Teardrop Tickler -

We have the 5X8 model of the Silver Shadow and are very pleased with the teardrop. The quality of construction is outstanding and the price seems reasonable, given that part of the price is the labor involved in assembling it. As you peruse the forum, you will see some outstanding teardrop built by members, one-offs that could never be matched by an "assembly line" type of operation. That being said, if you haven't the time or the skills, or simply wanna go camping NOW, IMHO you would be very pleased to own one of these units. They are built by an Amish gentleman near North Canton and are beautifully put together.

As an alternative to the eBay listing, why not call up Joe Mullet, the very guy, and talk with him personally? His number is 330-852-4811.

Hi Teardrop Tickler,

I've met Keith at Yoder Toter and he's a super guy and they have nice td's for sure.

I couldn't afford the price tag of those new units, even with a little bit less off of his ebay postings...............so I did the next best thing. I went home and started planning to build my own.

One year later and I'm ready for my first campout.

Have fun looking and I'm sure there's a new td out there with your name on it!!!!!
