Madjack
SmokeyBob's BBQ brisket is in on this one. I might even cook up some of my BBQ beans. This is going to be a fantastic cook off.

BBQ Cookoff??? Is this official? Well, as "official" as anything here gets, that is?

I've never done any competitive cooking, but I'm up for it as long as nobody get's too serious, and there aren't a bunch of those things -- um, what do you call them -- oh, yes, RULES!

Does anyone have any pictures of their award winning BBQ grills? I'm looking for a nice one. (No not that grill on a trailer.) But a reasonable grill that I can take camping in a tiny trailer, that makes lots of smoke...

Mike,
I use the top one, but used to have one like the one on the bottom. The top smoker does a great job.

I can see right off da bat... that the Texas dog's are circling with tails of pride uP
in the air already and there is months to go before you eat~

As I see it the Texas Contingency is well represented with as you might
expect EGO's flustered uP to a crescendo of attitude that only that small
state 's residents can muster.
ImageImage
It already sounds like a bunch of rattlers pi$$in into the air and the
premature puffing out of chests like roosters in the wee hours of the morning.
And there are months before we have to suffer the real stand uP Texas
type crowing of who to heck can win the taste-bud pleasure wars in Louisiana.

Now while on the MadOnes turf ... I would hope you Bandi Texas Roosters
can focus and wrap your minds around the truth that those Cajun boi's
won't give uP to da big bad bloated Texas winds of gloat, with anything less
than a COO D'GRAH of Bayou proportion.

It may be time for an end to the braggadocios ways of Texans and a time
for them to genuflect as they come into the swamps of Louisiana.
After tenderizing Texans with the help of gators and mud crabs, real men
of Louisiana have had BBQ'd Texans for sport from time immortal.

So hold on there Texas and mind yur P's and Q's. Don't even think yur
gonna stomp into Louisiana, in vast numbers and not have some burns and
scars. The MadOne's Cajun Posse, have dominion and legal authority of
their fiery grills and will take you on all together and leave the remains for
the swamp critters to have their way.

So tone down the bloat and gloat .... cause humble pie is hard fur a Texan to choke.

Just remember that bragging and gloating is fact when you are the best!

In any case, the battle of the BBQ Titans will make for some mighty tasty eatin's for those that make the trip. We may gloat, but we ain't stupid! :R
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.
