Sledge, Thank You. Martha, Thank You. :)
Your absolutely correct, it is nice havin' your own nurse :D .
I've read that people over 60 are prone to rotator cuff tears. My neighbors large German Shepherd pup loves me and jumps me at full gallop and once wrenched my right shoulder :crying1: . I may have been OK but I slipped on ice in the driveway and fell on my elbow Christmas week :snowstorm: :crying2: . The Dr that I saw didn't think it was necessary to do X-rays so I kept working for 6 months until I couldn't stand the pain no more. This Dr is a Sports Medicine Dr with a good reputation. :) I sure hope to get rid of this pillow sling Friday for a regular one. It is so uncomfortable to sleep with it, I wake up every hour in pain even with meds. Last night was my best night so far so it must be getting better. We will be camping in our TD soon and the weather is getting better so I should have a nice forced vacation  8) Danny

Danny, Maybe you should head down to Vegas. You only need one arm to play the slots. (One armed bandits).

Jim, that's funny  . I haven't been to Vegas since the mid 70's, I don't care for that kind of activity anyway. I know it has changed and is glitzier now. :) Danny

Danny, what a bummer that the damage ever happened, I wish I had an RN to take care of me, My wife just isn't good around sick people or even people who are just layed up.

Take it easy, enjoy the time and make the best of it.

I was going to post some pictures of the hemorrhoidal "procedure" that I once had..... butt figured the interest level would be quite low!!

Smart thinking Alaskajack. You can put that all behind you now. ;) Do you carry around documation that it's your hip parts not something else when going through airport security? :) Danny

Yes I've got a little piece of paper..... but that doesn't help! I would always get the "secondary" screening with the wand ..and the queer guy touching me. I don't fly anymore..... If I can't drive, I don't go. (Would make an exception in the event of an emergency.... but the fun has sure gone out of airline travel!)
