We are looking to purchase a Muffler Man or similar mutant/hybrid.

We've checked several websites for them but think that possbily someone on the forum might know of one in their area. If you do, please PM me with the details.

Saw one standing next to the freeway driving home from Minden. It's in Jerome, Idaho at a place that sell trailers. There was another one in Nampa, Idaho that seems to have disappeared. I wonder if Lance Burton has been up to his old tricks again.

Betsy, I'll call the place in Jerome tomorrow and talk to them. Even if theirs isn't available I've found that the best people to ask are the ones who have.

According to the Muffler Man locator map, there was one at a car wash in Nampa. It has relocated to Ft. Rockvale Cafe and Casino in Rockvale, MT...but that was back in 2001, so it might be a different one than the one you mentioned.

They are rather elusive!

I came upon that site many years ago. Ever since, whenever we see a muffler man we make notice of it. I know of a couple that are still where the list says they are. There is one in Wendover, NV (It's actually in UT), and one out in the middle of a field just north of Raleigh, NC.
